Schools Indoor Blitz

Indoor blitz took place in Nenagh and Kilruane from Tuesday 15th to Friday 18th of February involving 36 schools in hurling and 12 schools in camogie. The blitz was a huge success with all schools playing an average of 5 matches each .The response from the schools was very positive as the primary objective was to allow total participation in a fun environment. Thanks to both Nenagh and Kilruane clubs for allowing us the use of their facilities and a special thanks to the Transition Year students from Nenagh Vocational College and Borrisokane Community College for all their help and assistance during the week.

Coach Education

We have provided two very successful Award 1, and two Foundation courses, which took place in Nenagh and Kilruane since January. Forty eight coaches took part in the Award 1 course and forty two coaches took part in the Foundation course. We have received a very positive feedback from the clubs and I wish to thank all the clubs for participating and also for providing players for the practical sessions.

With the majority of AGM s over, any change to these or any positional change on juvenile boards, please contact your local GDA or County Coaching Officer.,

VHI CUL Camps will commence in late June and continue until late August.
