The following Durlas Og notes were published in this weeks (12th May) Tipperary Star:

Academy and Under 8.
Academy training as normal this Saturday from 10.00 to 11.00.  We continue to have a big number of boys attending training at this level and we very much appreciate the help we are getting from adults and also from our own Under 16 lads

Under 8s have a challenge match against Eire Og Nenagh on Saturday morning in Pairc na nOg.  Boys are asked to be in the field at the normal time of 10 ‘clock.

Under 10.
Last Saturday Durlas Og took part in an interdivisional hurling blitz, along with  Nenagh, Ballingarry and Roscrea. It was a busy morning with each club having two teams and each playing 15 minute matches. There was good competitive hurling and an excellent display of skills throughout. Thanks to all involved in organising and participating in a great mornings hurling.

Training as usual (hurling)  on Saturday morning at 10.00 and football at 7.00 on Wednesday.

Under 12
Tuesday last saw the last of our league games. The second team had a great win against J K Brackens
and join our other two teams in the semi finals to be played on this Wednesday. This was a great team
performance with special mention for our keeper turned full forward Rory Fogarty. Saturday saw our three hurling teams in action. Two teams travelled to Clarinbridge for a well run tournament by the home club. Bride Rovers in Cork hosted our other team .We would like to thank both clubs for their hospitality on the day.

Under 14.
We had a good game against Dicksboro on Sunday last, which was really beneficial. Many thanks to Dicksboro for travelling and we hope to repay them in the near future.

Under 16 'B' team qualifies for Mid Football Final.
Our Under 16 'B' team produced a fantastic performance to score a one point win over Upperchurch/Drombane in the Mid Under 16 'B' football semi final on Sunday last.  Final score Durlas Og 1-8 Upperchurch/Drombane 1-7.  They will play Drom/Inch or Gortnahoe/Glengoole in the final.
