The following notes were published in this weeks Tipperary Star:

Durlas Og Under 12s bridged a 21 year gap with a well  deserved 9 point win over a fancied Clonmel Commercials team in the County Football final in Templetuohy.
As is often the case,  this game was won as much on the training ground as on the pitch. Our extremely well coached boys played an outstanding brand of football to clinch the County title for the first time since a young Lar Corbett helped our boys to County honours in 1993.
The resolute defense of Stephen Donovan, Conor Fogarty, Conor Stapleton, Luke Fogarty and Daniel Ruddy laid the foundation for victory with a solid first half performance against the wind.  James Armstrong and Paddy Creedon were on top in midfield and the forward interplay of Oisin O’Brien, Conor Ruddy,  Jack Kelly, Daragh Stakelum, Conor Whitehead and Urban Nolan was a joy to watch.
Great credit is due to the mentors, Fergus O’Brien, Richie Stapleton, Danny Ruddy, David Fogarty and Sean O’Connell who had the team expertly coached and playing a wonderful style of attacking football.
Team and scorers:
Durlas Og: Steven Donovan, Conor Fogarty, Luke Fogarty, Conor Stapleton, Daniel Ruddy, James Armstrong, Paddy Creedon (2-4), Jack Kelly, Darragh Stakelum, Oisin O'Brien (1-3), Conor Ruddy (0-1), Urban Nolan (0-1), Conor Whitehead.

The victorious team were heralded through the town with the customary blowing of horns and were greeted at Pairc na Nog by a large crowd who welcomed home the newly crowned County Champions. Well done boys.

A number of our U14 Panel were involved in an U13 tournament in St Finbarrs Cork on Saturday. It was a very enjoyable day. We topped our group defeating Middleton, Blackrock and drawing with Glen Rovers. In the semi final we came up against St Finbarrs and after a great contest we lost out  by a single point. Finbarrs went on to win the final. The following day we hosted Ballygunner from Waterford and both our A and B teams had excellent workouts. Training continues for all panel members as the Mid Championship draws closer.

On Monday we drew sith Moycarkey in the mid final in a thriller in Templemore. We lost the replay on Saturday in the Ragg. Well done to all players.
