Durlas Og u12 A team played two matches last week against J.K. Brackens and Moycarkey/Borris both great wins. The  B team played two matches one against Holycross and one against Moycarkey. Two close matches but unfortunately were defeated in both. Well done to all our members who took  part in Cumann na mBunscoil last week.

Our A team  got their Mid campaign off to a successful start with a 1 08 to 0 06 win over Holycross on Thursday evening. We started well and a Jack  Lanigan goal saw us lead  by 2 points at the break. In a hard fought second half scores were difficult to come by but we eventually ran out 5 point winners. Kevin Bracken was solid in goals, Barry McGrath impressed at centre back, Kieran Moloney and Ben Murphy did well at midfield, while Jack Lanigan was a threat up front.. On Saturday we travelled to Mallow to participate in the Feile Competition. We had good wins against Innishcarra and Erins Own but were beaten by Silvermines by a point. Our B team start their Mid campaign t home on Wednesday.

Under 16
We played Sarsfields from Cork in two  useful challenge matches on Saturday . We also played St Johns from Belfast last weekend . With the hurling league rounds starting next week training continues as advised by mentors.
