The following notes were published in this weeks Tipperary Star:

Under 8
Training as usual on Saturday morning at 10.00 a.m. for Under 8 and Academy players.

Under 10
Hurling challenge against Holycross/Ballycahill on Saturday morning. All players to be in Pairc na nOg at 9.30 a.m. Football training on Wednesday evening from 7.00 p.m. to 8.00 p.m.

Under 12
Our teams had mixed fortunes last week. The ‘A’ team were victorious against Drom/Inch and the ‘B’ team were defeated Loughmore/Castleiney. Our ‘A’ team play Moycarkey/Borris in Littleton next Tuesday at 7.00 p.m.  Training as advised by mentors.

Under 14
Our  ‘B’ team started their campaign last Thursday with a home game against Moycarkey/Borris. It was an exciting game with Moycarkey starting well as they scored the first five points. Gradually we settled into the game and a David Mawe goal just before half time gave us hope. We started the second half well with goals by Mawe and Kieran Murphy. This was followed by a great Cillian Donaghy goal and at that stage we looked likely winners but Moycarkey finished strongly and ran out narrow winners. Meanwhile our ‘A’ team played Cashel in a very worthwhile challenge game and emerged victorious by seven points. They play Boherlahan/Dualla on Monday evening. Details next week.

Under 16
This week saw the start of the Mid hurling league with the ‘A’ playing Drom/Inch while the ‘B’ played Thurles Gaels. Next Saturday sees  the first day of our Under 16 tournament which will be run over two weekends.
