The following Durlas Og notes were published in this weeks Tipperary Star:
Under 8 and Academy.
On Saturday, August 27th, we will host Moycarkey-Borris teams at under 8 and Academy. Boys should be in Pairc na nOg at 10.00 am, we expect to be finished by 11.30.

Under 10.
Some boys from the under 8s and under 10s, travelled to Mount Sion, Waterford, last Saturday, at their kind invitation to take part in a blitz. There were six teams taking part in the tournament, Mount Sion (Waterford). Abbeyside (Waterford), Durlas Óg (Tipperary), Kilmacud Crokes (Dublin), Naomh Eanna (Wexford) and Ballygunner (Waterford). Durlas Óg played against Mount Sion, and Naomh Eanna, winning both matches to get through to the final, where they emerged outright winners. It was a proud day for the lads, all played well in very competitive matches, and full marks to Mount Sion on the hospitality shown us, likewise for the sporting nature of our opponents. We look forward to returning the invitation as soon as possible.

Training as usual on Saturday at 10.00am and Wednesday at 7.00.

Under 12.
On Tuesday our second and third teams played in the shield. This Thursday sees the first team playing their first game in this competition. Matches will continue over the coming weeks with training on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
