Our A team contested the Mid Tipp final last Saturday when we travelled to Littleton to take on the hosts. In a keenly contested and highly enjoyable match we played against the wind in the opening half. Moycarkey opened the scoring but a Joe Dwan goal gave us a great boost. Thereafter Moycarkey put us under serious pressure but our defence was excellent and at the other end points from Dwan and Jack Lanigan saw us retire at the break a point in the lead. Moycarkey started the second half strongly and soon pulled a goal ahead. However we were back in the lead again when Fred Crowley found the net. In a hugely exciting second half the lead changed hands and with seven minutes remaining the sides were level. However Moycarkey finished the stronger and struck for two goals in the final five minutes to run out 4 07 to 2 08 winners.

Under 16

There was a good win for our second team last week against Upperchurch, and we played Thurles Gaels on Monday night. Next Monday night will see the first team in the semi final, at home, further details to follow

Cúl Camp

This years Cúl Camp was another great success, with large numbers attending. Well done to all involved, organisers and participants.
