The following notes were published in this weeks Tipperary Star:
Under 8 and Academy:
Our matches against Moycarkey were called off last Saturday, but we hope to rearrange them for sometime in the near future. Training as normal on Saturday morning from 10.00 to 11.00.

Under 10.
We will have a football challenge match against Holycross on Wednesday evening, at 7. 00pm. Training as usual on Saturday.
Some boys from the under 8s and under 10s, travelled to Mount Sion, Waterford, on Saturday, August 20th, at their kind invitation to take part in a blitz. There were six teams taking part in the tournament, Mount Sion (Waterford). Abbeyside (Waterford), Durlas Óg (Tipperary), Kilmacud Crokes (Dublin), Naomh Eanna (Wexford) and Ballygunner (Waterford). Durlas Óg played against Mount Sion, and Naomh Eanna, winning both matches to get through to the final, where they emerged outright winners. It was a proud day for the lads, all played well in very competitive matches, and full marks to Mount Sion on the hospitality shown us, likewise for the sporting nature of our opponents. We look forward to returning the invitation as soon as possible.

Tipperary Underage Teams:
Well done to all our players who represented Tipperary in the underage tournaments held last weekend. Under 14 - Rory Purcell: Under 15 - Faolan Linnane, Billy McCarthy, Paul Sammon and Thomas Skehan : Under 16 - Kevin Dunne, Conor Lanigan, Jack Lineen, Caley Maher, Graham Maher, Ronan Maher and David Russell. Well done also to Tony Lanigan who was a selector with the Under 16 team
