The following Durlas Og notes were published in this weeks Tipperary Star:

Under 10
Hurling training as usual on Saturday morning. We will be playing Kilara Og, from  Kilworth (Cork), on Sunday morning. All players are asked to be in Durlas Og at 11.00am.  Playing teams from another county is always a big occasion for our under 10s, and we would encourage the parents to turn out to support the lads.

Football training on Wednesday evening at 7.00

Under 12
Training as advised.

It was a wonderful weekend for our U14s as we won the county Feile Peil. On Friday evening we played Knockavilla in Cashel. We started in blistering fashion and lead by 4 points after 5 minutes but Knockavilla hit back to level. Goals from Cathal Hayes and Jack Lanigan either side of half time gave us a cushion and with our defence outstanding we ran out winners by 3 07 to 1 02. It was on to Holycross on Sunday for the final v Moyle  Rovers and again we made a good start with an early Paddy Creedon point. But Moyle hit back with a goal and the exchanges were close and hard fought but  goals from Cathal Hayes and Jack Lanigan saw us lead by 5 at the break. Our midfield were dominant and we kept the score board ticking with Creedon and Cian Stakelum  on form. Rovers never gave up and struck two further goals but we ran out deserved winners on a scoreline of 3 12 to 4 01. There were scenes of great jubilation as Paddy Stakelum lifted the cup. This was an excellent achievement by these group of dedicated players and we can now look forward to travelling to the All Ireland Feile at the end of June. In the shorter term we turn our attentions to hurling as we play Moycarkey in the Mid Feile Hurling final on Wednesday.  We last won the Feile Peil, in 84/85, and we have now bridged this gap, bringing great honour to the club. Well done to the lads and their mentors.

Last week we had two games , our second team played out a thrilling draw with Moyne Templetuohy in the quarter final of the B championship . This was a thriller with extra time unable to split the two teams on the night . The replay is fixed for Monday night . Tuesday saw the first team complete their league rounds with a win over Boherlahan , they now meet Moycarkey in the mid semi final in the coming weeks .
