Hurling training continues on Saturday morning at 10.00am, football training continues on Wednesday evening at 7.00pm. It’s great to see so many turning out to train each week, keep it up lads.

We are playing Kilmacud Crokes in Páirc na nÓg on Sunday morning, further details at training Saturday.

The Gaelic Football season has come to a close and our three Under 12 teams all qualified for Mid Semi-finals in the past few weeks.  "Lar Corbetts" team played against a very strong Clonakenny team in their semi-final, but put up a great fight.  'Padraig Mahers" team qualified to play Boherlahan in their semi-final and played some lovely football.  They had a fine second half, with a great team effort and well taken scores.  "Michael Cahills team went one better and beat JK Brackens in their semi-final, and renewed rivalry with Upperchurch in the Mid Final.  Durlas Og led 1-04 to three points at half-time and seemed to be well in control in the second half, but a deceiving high kick from a free crept into the Durlas Og net with 7 minutes to go starting a comeback from the Upperchurch boys.  Upperchurch scored two more goals and although our boys never gave up trying, it was not to be.  We now turn to the hurling, and had Lucan Sarsfields visiedt us last Sunday for a challenge match.  Thanks to the parents who helped out with teas and refreshments.  Training as advised by mentors.

Under 14
Our B footballers had a busy week with two matches. On Monday we travelled to Moyne and on Thursday we hosted Gortnahoe in the Shield semi final. Unfortunately we came up short in both games. Our A team contest the Mid Football Final on Saturday next. Venue and time have yet to be confirmed. Thanks to all who helped with the Bag pack in Tesco on Friday and Saturday last. All money collected goes towards the Feile Peil which takes place at the end of June.
