The following Durlas Og notes were published in this weeks Tipperary Star:

Open Day
We are having our annual Open Day on Saturday, from 10.00am to 12pm. We invite all parents and past, present and future  members to attend. We will have some special guests in attendance, and there will be some fine skills on display from the Academy, U8 and U10. Tá fáilte róimh go léir.

On Saturday morning the under 8s will be playing Moycarkey. Players are asked to be in the field for 10.15 am with the matches starting at 10.30am and we should be finished up around 12.00.

Football training for under 8s continues on Wednesday evenings at 7.00.

Under 10
We played Kilmacud – Crokes in a challenge match last Sunday morning. Both our teams played very well in very close, even matches. We hope to travel to Kilmacud – Croakes home ground later on in the year.

Training as usual next weekend: Saturday morning hurling at 11.00, and football continues on Wednesday evenings at 7.00.

Under 12
We had a challenge match last Saturday against Dicksboro and BorrisIeigh in Pairc na nOg.  We had a great test against Dicksboro,  where our boys performed well. In our match against a strong Borrisileigh side,  the boys fought hard to the end, well done to all.

Our U14 A team won the Mid Football Final with a hard fought victory against Moycarkey in a very entertaining match in Boherlahan on Saturday. Moycarkey started well and we were under lots of pressure early on but our defence coped well and gradually we got into the game and led by 0 3 to 0 1 after 15 mins. Moycarkey levelled but a Joe Dwan goal gave us some breathing space. However Moycarkey finished the half strongly and led by 1 04 to 1 03 at the break. The second half was a rip roaring affair as both sides fought manfully for supremacy. The scores were tied at 1 05 each ten minutes into the second half .But we finished strongly with our goalkeeper and defence outstanding as Moycarkey searched for a late goal. At the other end scores from Jack Lanigan and Jack Kelly saw us home by a score of 1 09 to 1 06.This was a great overall display from the team who really had to dig deep to come out on top. Team Dara Stakelum, Conor Stapelton, Kieran Costello (0 1) Henry Fogarty, James Armstrong, Patrick Stakelum, Jordan Fahy, Joe Dwan(1 1), Paddy Creedon (01),Cian Stakelum,, Cathal Hayes, Eoin Purcell, Jack Kelly(0 1} Jack Lanigan(0 5) Luke Fogarty Sean Collins.
