Durlas Og - Tipperary Star Notes

The following Durlas Og notes were published in this weeks Tipperary Star:

Open Day
Thank you to all who came to visit us on our open day, and a big thank you to all who help out with the cake/ice – cream sale.  

Under 8 and Academy
On Saturday morning the under 8s will be playing Moycarkey, this fixture was deferred from last week.  Players are asked to be in the field for 10.15 am with the matches starting at 10.30am and we should be finished up around 12.00.
Football training for under 8s continues on Wednesday evenings at 7.00.

Under 10

Hurling Training as usual on Saturday morning at 10.00, and football on Wednesday evening at 7.00pm.

Under 12
U/12s had a challenge match against a very strong Roscrea team on Saturday last in Durlas Og.  All players have shown great improvement over the past few weeks and are ready for the hurling championship which commences on Tuesday 9th June.  Training as advised by mentors.

Under 14
Training continues as advised by mentors .We are due to play our Co Semi in football on June 13. A very big thank you to the parents who did fantastic work in organising the cake and ice cream sale which was held in the clubhouse last Saturday. It was a great success and all funds raised go towards expenses to cover our trip to Feile Peil na nOg at the end of June. A Table Quiz  for the same cause will be held on Friday June 5  in Larry Fogartys . Throw in is at 9pm. Again all support is welcome

Under 16
Training continues as advised by mentors . We wish our players starting exams this week the best of luck
