The following Durlas Og notes were published in this weeks Tipperary Star:

Under 8/Academy
The under 8 played in a blitz against Moycarkey. Both teams played in a very sporting manner, and it is great to see such improvement amongst our youngest members.

Training as usual on Saturday morning at 10.00 am.

Football for the under 8s at 7.00pm on Wednesday evening.

Under 10
The under 10s played against Bally Rovers (West Cork), on Sunday morning. The Bally boys had come up to watch the Senior game against Waterford, but we had our own Tipp stars on the day…  Daniel Rossiter, Emmet Ralph, Keith Loughnane and Darragh O’Grady put in outstanding  performances, and all of the players on the under 10s put in a great effort.  Well done to all.

A BIG Thank you to all the parents who provided food and who helped out with providing refreshment for the match. It was much appreciated by all the mentors and players. Thanks again. Unfortunately, next Sunday’s arranged game against Lucan –Sarsfields has been cancelled.

Under 12
We had a challenge match against Sarsfields of Cork on Sunday last.  We had two teams playing and all players performed well.  All three hurling teams start their championships this week.  On Monday, we will have played Morcarkey-Borris in Littleton (8th June).   On Wednesday evening (10th June) our other two teams are in action against Holycross-Ballycahill in Holycross at 7pm and 7.45pm respectively.  We will have second round matches on Tuesday 16th and Wednesday 17th June - more information at training.
