All three teams were in first round championship action this week in Littleton and Holycross respectively.  We recorded a victory over Holycross A, and two losses to Moycarkey and Holycross B.  No training this week as we have players involved with schools finals and would like to wish them all the best of luck.  Training as advised by mentors.

Our U14 Gaelic football team qualified for the A county final with a hard earned but deserved victory over a game Galtee Rovers/Golden combination last Saturday in Holycross. Rovers started well and had the first score but a Jack Lanigan goal settled us down and we proceeded to play some excellent football for the remainder of the half, as further goals from Paddy Creedon and Cian Stakelum saw us lead by 3 06 to 0 04 at half time. When Joe Dwan netted our fourth goal early in the second we looked home, but Rovers fought back strongly and we were hanging on  at the end. Final Score Durlas Og 4 09 Galtee 3 07. The final is fixed for Templetouhy at 3.30pm on Saturday where we will face Clonmel Og who recorded a huge win in the other semi-final.

Well done and thanks to all who organised and helped with Guess the Score cards for the Feile Peil. Our final fundraiser is the Golf Classic in Thurles Golf Club on Friday June 19th.
