The following Durlas Og notes were published in this weeks Tipperary Star:

Under 8/ Academy
Our under 8s travelled to Holycross last Saturday to take part in  an under 7/under 8 blitz.  We  fielded an under 7 and under 8 team, and both teams played Holycross, Moycarkey and Cashel. We would like to thank Holycross for their kind invitation, and the day was very well organised and thoroughly enjoyed by some of our youngest players.

Under 10
We are travelling to Holycross  on Saturday morning to take part in the Bob Stakelum tournament.

Please note there will be no football training on Wednesday.

Under 12
Under 11s  played two matches this week group 1 played Holycross on Monday, and group 2 played  Clonakenny.  Under 12 played JK Brackens on Thursday.  Results and reports to follow.

Under 14
Our U14 s secured the second leg of a magnificent double when they won  the A Co Hurling title to add to the A football title won last June  Boherlahan was the venue for this decider and Roscrea provided the opposition. A tense and low scoring first half saw points from Jack Lanigan and Eoin Purcell but we trailed by 0 4 to 0 3 at the break. We needed a good start to the second  and 1 02 in the first five minutes gave us a great boost, the goal coming from a Lanigan free. Roscrea reduced the margin to two points but we were playing with much more confidence now and when James Armstrong struck for our second goal the winning post was in sight. Lanigan wrapped it up with  his second goal to leave the final score Durlas Og 3 11 Roscrea 0 7  though in fairness the match was a lot closer than the scoreline suggests.Dara Stakelum was excellent in goals and he was fronted by an extremely solid defence of Conor Stapelton, Paddy Staklelum, David Mawe , Cathal Hayes, Kieran Costello and Jordan Fahey who restricted their opponents to just 3 points from play. At midfield Eoin Purcell and Paddy Creedon held the upper hand, while up front Joe Dwan, Cian Stakelum, Oisin O Brien,James Armstrong, Jack Lanigan and Dean Fanning all contributed  in gaining this victory. Subs used on the day,Sean Collins,Aaron Mulcaire,Jack Kelly and Luke Fogarty all played their part in this win while our other subs have played crucial roles throughout the season. So then an extremely successful year for this group of players who also won the Co Feile Peil and represented Tipperary in the All Ireland Feile Peil na nOg during the Summer..

Under 16
The under 16s will be playing in the under 16 B football shield final this weekend.  We wish them the very best of luck!
