The following notes were published in this weeks Tipperary Star:

Under 8
Our u8's travelled to Cork Sarsfields on Saturday, Octobe 17th, for what was their first outing this year outside the county boundaries. There had been a great buzz in the week leading up to the game and all boys were giddy with excitement as we left our clubhouse at 9am. By the time we hit the motorway we were going through our Durlas Og songbook. Suffice to say some of these boys hurl better than they sing! On arrival we divided our boys into four teams. All games were very competitive and Durlas Og acquitted themselves very well. They played with great skill and passion and put into practice all the training they received during the year. Their attitude was exemplary as was their behaviour all day. We received a fantastic reception from all at Cork Sarsfields and hope to return the favour next year. A special word of thanks to the large number of parents who travelled and offered support and encouragement to all boys throughout the day. We returned to Thurles and enjoyed lunch in Supermacs where we were very well looked after - a fitting end to a great morning.

 Under 10
Our under 10 met for the last hurling training session of the year on Saturday last.

We would like to say goodbye and good luck to the boys moving up to under 12s next season.

It was great to see so many turn out for our final session, and in addition we would like to take this opportunity to commend all the boys on the effort and commitment they have shown over the course of the year. Well done lads.
