The following Durlas Og notes were published in this weeks Tipperary Star:
Under 6 and Under 8
Last Saturday we played Under 6 and Under 8 challenge matches against Dixsboro from Kilkenny. With six matches all being played at the same time, what a fabulous sight to see over 120 boys from Tipperary and Kilkenny playing hurling to such a high standard. Each and every boy played their part in a tremendous hurling occasion. A very warm thank you to Dixsboro for making the journey to Thurles, we hope that you enjoyed your visit. A very special thank you to everybody who helped to make the day such a special one, to the parents who helped with the catering, to those who refereed the matches, to those who helped and encouraged the boys and to all our mentors for organising the day.

Training as normal next Saturday at 10 o'clock.

Congratulation to our under 16, on their win over Nenagh Eire Og in the County Under 16 'A' hurling semi final at The Ragg on Saturday last. Well done to all the players for their magnificent effort especially for their second half display and comeback. Special mention of Conor Lanigan who scored 14 points in a top class display of marksmanship. Our county final opponents are not yet know as both the South and West finals have to be played.
