posted Sep 3, 2016, 5:33 AM by John Smith
The following Durlas Og notes were published in this weeks Tipperary Star:

Under 8/Academy.

Training continues as usual.

Thank you to Drom and Inch for their kind invitation to partake in the Bill Darcy memorial under 8 blitz.  We hope to return the invite and the hospitality at some future date.

Under 10.

Training continues on Saturday morning and Wednesday evening.

Under 16

We were defeated by Moycarkey in the Mid Tipp semi final, played in Boherlahan last Monday evening. The first half was well contested and with our defence playing well, goals from Frank McKevitt and Eoin Purcell had us on level terms after twenty minutes though Moycarkey finished the half strongly to lead by 4 at the break. We missed a number of scoring chances in the second half, while Moycarkey were clinical at the other end and despite a Ciaran Murphy goal they ran out deserving winners

Cúl Camp.

Cúl camp was once again a great success, we had a great week of training and games, well done to the coaches and all involved

Best of Luck!!!

Everyone at Durlas Óg wishes our Minor and Senior hurlers the very best of luck on Sunday, and it is nice to see so many former Durlas Óg players lining out on All Ireland Sunday, and not only that but some of our mentors are involved at managerial level.Tiobraid Aráinn  Abú.
