Congratulations to our All Ireland champions

Congratulations to both the Tipperary senior and minor teams on their magnificent performance in brining the Liam McCarthy and Irish Press cups back to Tipperary.  It was a very special occasion for all in Durlas Og.  Michael Cahill, Ronan Maher, Padraic Maher, Aidan McCormack and Stephen Cahill were members of the senior panel and Conor Stakelum was a member of the minor panel.

All six players commenced their hurling careers in Durlas Og and we are all so proud of them and their achievements.  Also the Durlas Og connection extended to the management and backroom teams.  Congratulation and well done to Conor Stakelum (senior selector), Sean Corbett (minor selector), John Smith and Brian Stakelum (senior backroom) and Andy Ryan (minor backroom). The last time Tipperary won the All Ireland senior and minor double was in 1949 and the late Pat Stakelum who was a founding member of Durlas Og and served as its President for many years was the senior captain.
