posted Oct 14, 2016, 9:23 AM by John Smith
The following Durlas Og notes were published in this weeks Tipperary Star:

Training continues as usual on Saturday morning at 10.00 am.

Under 8.

On Sunday, Oct 9th, the under 8s travelled to a blitz hosted by JK Brackens. There were four club involved: Durlas Óg, JK Brackens, Holycross and Kilmacud Crokes (Dublin). Each club fielded two teams. Both of the Durlas Óg teams played well, and one of our teams won the tournament. We would like to thank JK Brackens for their invitation, and the hospitality they showed us on the day.

Under 10.

On Sunday last, October 9th, we travelled to Dublin, at the kind invitation of Kilmacud Crokes.  It was an honour to be invited to play in their Autumn Festival of Hurling. We fielded two teams we were delighted with the level of skill displayed by the Durlas Óg lads. We played teams from Dublin, Wexford and Tipperary. We would like to thank the club for inviting us, and for their hospitality.

Under 14 and Under 16.

Training as advised by mentors.

Best of Luck!

We would like to wish the Sarsfields intermediate team the very best of luck in the county semi-final next week-end, and likewise best wishes to  the Sarsfields senior team  in the county final.
