On Saturday our second and third teams played in the county quarter finals in Semple Stadium. First into action was the third team and after a slow start we got right back into the game, eventually losing out by 4 points.

Our second team were next to play and despite trailing by 2 points in injury time to Burgess, a last minute goal gave us victory.  In the semi-final we lost to Grangemockler who went on to win out the division.
All players were presented with their medals  after the matches. Everyone on the teams deserves great credit for the way they played throughout the league. Hurling training continues on Wednesdays and Saturdays.  This Sunday we play Ballyboden St. Enda's, details at training.
