The following notes were published in this weeks Tipperary Star:

Under 8 and Academy
Next Saturday will be our last Under 8 and Academy training session for 2011. Thanks to everybody who helped during the year but a special thanks to all our mentors for their wonderful dedication throughout the year.

Last Sunday our Under 8s travelled to the Kilmacud Crokes Tournament in Dublin. With teams participating from Dublin, Tipperary, Cork, Wexford, Waterford and Galway this was truly an inter county competition. We entered two teams and each played three group matches and both teams contested their respective finals with the two matches ending in thrilling draws. One team scored two late points to draw and the other team came from two goals down to draw level and nearly snatched victory in an exciting finish. A huge thanks to our hosts Kilmacud Crokes who treated us tremendously well and ran a very well organised tournament despite the bad weather. All our boys hurled with great skill and determination in difficult conditions and each and every one of them can be proud of their performance. We had great help from our parents and mentors which all helped to make it a special day for all the boys.

Under 10
This weekend sees our last training session of the season. We had a wonderful season and our silverware will be on display on Saturday, so have the cameras at the ready. We would like to thank everyone for the support they have given to the under 10s over the course of this season, the parents, the mentors, the club and of course the boys, who have grown in skill and shown great commitment and dedication throughout. Go raibh maith agaibh.

Under 12
The six a side Astro league continues on Friday night. We have under 12 and under 11 tournaments coming up over the coming weeks. Players will be notified on about times and venues.

Under 14
Training as advised by mentors.

Under 16
We are still awating a date for the County Under 16 'A' hurling final. The South final has yet to be played and the South winners have to play Arravale Rovers in the county semi final. Details will be circulated as soon as they are available.

Congratulations to Lar Corbett, Padraic Maher and Michael Cahill on their recent all-star awards. All three are former Durlas Og members, and we would like to wish them heartiest congratulations on their achievement.
