The following notes were published in this weeks Tipperary Star:
Academy and Under 8.
There has been a great turn out for under 8 and Academy since we started back, new member are always welcome. Training on Saturday morning at 10.00, and football for under 8s at 7.00 on Wednesday.
We will be travelling to Patrickswell, Limerick, to take part in a blitz on Saturday, April 21st. Further detail to follow by text. Football as usual on Wednesday evening at 7.00.
Tuesday 10th April saw our B Gaelic Football team continue it`s good run of form with victory over Clonakenny in Clonakenny. An early Aaron Mulcaire goal set us on our way and we held on for a comfortable victory. There were good performances from Eoin Purcell, David Maw, Sean Collins and Shane Stapleton.
On Tuesday 18th April both our teams are in action, our A side play a quarter final at Holycross while our Bside have a home match v Moycarkey.
No training this Saturday. We will host na Piarsigh from Cork on Sunday morning in a hurling match . Players to be in Páirc na nÓg at 11.30
Last week we had two Football matches. The second team had a good win over Moycarkey while the first team lost heavily to J K Brackens.At the weekend we had two hurling challenge matches .On Saturday we made the trip to Kilcommon and on Sunday we hosted O Loughlins of Kilkenny. Training continues on Wednesday at 7 and on Thursday the First team are back in Football action at home to Drom & Inch at 7.
Well done to Bill Darcy on winning the mid long puck.
