Under 12

It was another busy week for our u12 football teams.
Our A team put in an excellent performance in the semi-final against Boherlahan Dualla before eventually going down by four points. There were great performances by Killian Donaghy, Killian Ryan and Fred Crowley.
Our B team played JK Brackens in the quarter final and emerged victorious with strong performances from Sean Collins, Cian Stakelum and Jamie Donovan. We now play Thurles Gaels for a place in the final.

Under 14

We played Kilruane in the county Féile final on Monday last in Borrisoleigh. The game was a thriller but a three goal blitz in the final five minutes gave victory to the north team by a single point.Great credit goes to all the players involved. This weeks action switches back to football with both teams facing Moycarkey. We would like to thank Douglas for a great challenge match on Sunday and look forward to a return visit in the near future.

On Tuesday May 1st last the under 16 ‘c’ team overcame a very challenging Upperchurch- Drombane side to win the Mid Under 16 ‘C’ football final in testing conditions.

Well done to the Dúrlas Óg lads, they went on to play J.K. Brackens in Templemore last Tuesday in the mid Semi – Final evening, May 8th, at 7.00. Result not to hand at going to press. Full match report next week.
