Last Thursday evening our second team played Thurles Gaels in the mid football final . In very warm conditions both teams played great football. When the final whistle blew we had lost out by a single point. The standard of football on show on the night bodes well for the game in the town of Thurles. Every player on this panel gave their all throughout the football campaign and we now move on to the Hurling. Congratulations to our four players on the mid team which won the Peader Cuummins cup on Saturday. Bill Darcy , Mark Purcell, Mathew Kelly and Conor Stakelum all played their part on the day.
