The following notes were published in this weeks Tipperary Star:
Under 16:Our 'B' team were defeated by Carrick Davins in the County Under 16 'C' football final at Cashel on Saturday. We tried very hard throughout the game but the physically stronger Carrick side dominated from the start and won convincingly in the end. Special mention of our goalie, Jack McDonnell who brought off a number of top class saves. Despite this defeat it was a great year for our boys who won Mid Under 16 'C' and Mid/West Under 16 football titles. The Durlas Og panel was: Jack McDonnell, Conor Cassidy, Jack Derby, Kieran Keane, Jack Fitzgibbon, Cathal Moloney, Daniel Taylor, Rory Purcell, Jamie Curtis, Michael Wade, Colin Lee, Robbie Hanrahan, Brian Fallon, Colin Doyle, William Creedon, Sean Fitzgibbon, Jack Carroll, Sean Dwan, Thomas Fogarty, Ciaran Shanahan, Glenn Kerrigan. The mentors were Sean Corbett, Tony LKanigan, Conor Stakelum and John O'Connell.
The Mid Under 16 hurling championships has commenced. The second round of matches will be played next Monday. Our ‘A’ team will play J.K. Brackens in Pairc na nOg (7.00 p.m.) while our ‘B’ team are away (7.30 p.m.) to Moyne/Templetuohy.

Under 14: Last week our two teams were in action. Our second team played Thurles Gaels and ran out comfortable winners on a score line of 7-14 to 0-01. This was a total team performance with all players playing their part. Philip Ryan was top scorer on the night, scoring 3-2. Our first team played J.K. Brackens, This game finished level after some great play by both teams. Bill Darcy`s accuracy from place balls ensured a share of the spoils. This week our first team play Drom/Inch in The Ragg on Thursday, while our second team play Clonakenny in Durlas Og also on Thursday.

Under 12: It was another very busy week for our hurlers. On Tuesday 26 June our ‘A’ team got their first win of the campaign when they overcame J.K. Brackens in a high scoring game in Templemore. There were strong performances all round with Kieran Moloney, Kieran Costello and Cian Stakelum doing especially well. Three days later our ‘A’ team was in action again when they travelled to Boherlahan to take on the home team. In a thrilling game we recovered from a seven point deficit early in the second half to record an excellent three point win. There were great performances from Kevin Bracken,Sean Butler and Conor Murphy in an overall fine team effort.
Our ‘B’ team kept their fine run going when they got the better of J.K. Brackens. Despite conceding an early goal they soon got into their stride and great performances from Joe Dwan, Killian Donaghy and Jamie Donovan saw them secure a fine victory.
On Monday 25 June our ‘C’ team kept their one hundred record intact when they proved too strong for a game Drom/Inch side in Pairc na nOg. There were excellent performances from Liam Kenny, Cormac Flynn and Conor Stapleton.

Under 8: We welcomed Roscrea, Carrick Swan, St. Marys and Clonakenny to Pairc na nOg last Saturday for a blitz. Each team played three matches and our boys gave a very good account of themselves.
