Durlas Og - Tipperary Star Notes

The following notes were published in this weeks Tipperary Star:
 

Academy/ Under 8.
The Under 8s travelled to Holycross last Saturday, and enjoyed a great mornings hurling. Training at the usual time 10.00 on Saturday.

No under 8 football training on Wednesday, it has finished for the season and will resume in the spring.

Under 10
Last Saturday we travelled to Templemore, and played games against JK. Brackens, Loughmore and Moyne – Templetouhy. Thanks to J.K. Brackens for their kind invitation, and the great hospitality shown to us.

This weekend we will be travelling to Cork at the invitation of St. Finbarrs, we will be leaving at 9.00, further details at training.

 Please note: no football training, football has finished for the season and will restart in the spring.

Under 12
We started our astro league last friday night.Four teams play each other in a league format in both gaelic football and hurling. There was a big attendance and an enjoyable series of games were played. Round 2 will take place on Friday evening.

Under 14
Our under thirteen team played in the county league on Saturday.We played three games drawing two and losing one. We will continue to train over the coming weekends in preparation for upcoming tournaments.

Congratulations
Congratulations to the Tipperary Minor team on winning the All- Ireland Minor Hurling final last Sunday, well done to Ronan Maher, Stephen Cahill, Conor Lanigan.
