The under 16s had a meeting last Wednesday evening, and we would like to thank all who attended. Training has begun and players will are asked to keep an eye on the training schedule and will be reminded of times and dates.

Monthly meeting
The next monthly meeting will take place on Thursday, February 7th, at 8:30 in the club house. Committee members are invited to attend, and we ask that each group is represented at the meeting by at least one of the mentors.

New members
As we start back to training after the winter break it is an ideal time to remind everyone that new members are always welcome. If your child is interested please come up at the appropriate training time and one of the mentors will look after you. In addition we always welcome adult help, and if you are interested in becoming involved in the club just come along to any of the training sessions.

Scór na bPáistí
A big well done to our participants who competed in the Mid Semi Finals of Scor na bpaisti last Saturday 2nd February in Holycross. Five of our entries qualified for the Mid Finals. They include: Lorna Hayes, Ciara Gleeson, Robyn Fanning, Chloe Hall, Katelyn Ruddy, Amie Nolan, Kayleigh Fogarty and Roisin Bambrick in the Rince Foirne.

Katelyn Ruddy qualified in the Sean Nos Dancing Our Qiuiz Team of David Mawe, Kieran Costello and Sean Collins also made it safely through to the finals.

We were also successful in the Rince Seit through Sean Collins, Aine O`Connell, Katelyn Ruddy, Jennifer Irwin, Amie Nolan, Sadhbh Leahy, Roisin Bambrick and Niamh Purcell.

In the final event of the night our Novelty Act team of Kevin Bracken, Kieran Costello, Sean Costello, Kieran Moloney, Ben Murphy, Conor Stapleton and Robbie Stapleton produced great entertainment for the audience with their hilarious performance of "Match Day Mayhem"- a play set in Thurles on the week-end of the the National Hurling League Final 2013 between great rivals Tipperary and Kilkenny.

We wish the very best of luck to all of the above who compete in the Mid Finals in Littleton at 7:30 on Saturday 9th February.  We would also appreciate and welcome a big turn-out of support for our participants.
