Durlas Og - Tipperary Star Notes

The following notes were published in this weeks Tipperary Star:
 

Under 8 and Academy.
Training Saturday morning at 10.00 in Páirc na nOg. New members are always welcome, and we are delighted to see such good numbers coming each week.

Under 10
Last weekend saw the under 10s take part in a Football blitz, there was a great turn out on the day. Each team had three games and the lads performance on the day was commendable, especially since this was their first football outing of the season. Well done to all involved.

Training will continue on Saturday mornings at 10.00 in Páirc na nÓg..

Under 12.
We start our Gaelic Football campaign on Saturday 9 March. Both our A and B teams are in action in Pairc na nÓg. It is essential that all players are present, and wear gum-shields.

Times of matches will be confirmed later in the week. Training continues on Tuesday evenings at 5 45pm.

Under 14
Last Saturday we played Drom in the peil quarter final.We got off to a great start with early goals from Christopher Carew and Philip Ryan setting the trend for a dominant first half display.The second half was a more even contest however the result was never in doubt with further scores from Michael Purcell and Carew .All our players played well on the day with standout performances from Jack Croke,William Creedon, Adam Hickey and Michael Stakelum.

We now go on to play Holycross in the mid semi final next Sunday at 10 o clock in Littleton .Training continues on Wednesdays and Sundays.

Under 16’s
Training as advised.

Fantasy Cheltenham Fundraiser.
With just one week to go, tickets are available from any committee member or mentors. Any support you can give would be appreciated. Anybody with full cards can return them to Larry Ryan as soon as possible, thank you.

Committee Meeting.
We will have a committee meeting on Thursday, March 7th at 8.30.
