Our U12 Gaelic Footballers got their campaign up and running last Saturday in Pairc na nOg when we played Drom and Inch in a double header. Our B team had an excellent win with great performances from Oisin O Brien Liam Kenny Conor Whitehead and Dean Fanning. Our A team found the going a bit harder. An Eoin Purcell goal saw us lead by two points at the break. An exciting second half followed and the final score of Drom 2 04 Durlas Og 1 07 was a fair result. There were good performances from Conor Stapelton, Paddy Creedon Cian Stakelum and James Armstrong. Training continues on Tuesday evenings and Saturday mornings 11 15.

Under 14
The Mid finals of the Peil were played on Sunday morning in Littleton.

We played Holycross in the semi final and came out on top in a low scoring game in terrible conditions.

In the final we played Moycarkey who got off to a great start .The host

club went on to win easily and we wish them well in the county semi

final . Hurling training resumes next Wednesday
