Under 12 Football
An extremely busy week came to a victorious end for us when we were crowned Mid A champions in Templetouhy last Sunday. The week started for us in Kickham Park on Sunday 21 when our B team put in an excellent second half to overturn a six point deficit and run out winners over Thurles Gaels by 3 6 to 3 3. Wednesday 24 April saw our A team travel to Templemore to face JK Brackens in their semi final. Again we found ourselves in arrears at the break this time by four points. Again a strong second half did the trick and we came out on top by 3 3 to 1 3

And so it was on to the finals. First up was the B team who put in a really great effort against a strong Clonakenny team before losing out by 3 5 to 2 3. There were great performances throughout the field with Cian McDonnell Luke Fogarty, Oisin O Brien and Liam Kenny playing their hearts out. The A team may have started as outsiders against Moycarkey but they saved their best performance of the year for the final. Playing with the wind we led by 0 7 to 0 1 at half time. An  early goal by Peter Wall gave us a great start to the second half but were forced to endure a spirited fight back by Moycarkey before emerging winners by 1 08 to 3 01. There were great scenes of jubilation as captain Kieran Costello lifted the cup aloft. After such a great team performance it would be wrong to single out any individuals so well done to the entire panel of Jack O Dwyer, Conor Stapelton, Jack Lanigan, Paddy Stakelum, Kieran Costello, Paddy Creedon, Cian Stakelum, Joe Dwan, Eoin Purcell, Jordan Fahy, James Armstrong, Peter Wall, Dara Stakelum and Sean Collins. Finally a big well done to Moyne Templetouhy for hosting all the finals so well.

Under 14
