The following notes were published in this weeks Tipperary Star:

Under 8 and Academy.

Last Saturday morning we had a tremendous morning of hurling when our Academy boys hosted teams from Holycross and Moycarkey/Borris. The fabulous weather was matched by standard of hurling from all the teams.  The skill, determination and ability shown by the under 6s was a joy to see and shows that the furfure of hurling in Tipperary is in safe hands.

Training as usual of under 6 and under 8 hurling.

Football training for under 8’s on Wednesday evening.

Under 10.

The under 10s took part in a blitz in Dr. Morris Park last Saturday morning.  The boys who will be moving up to under 12’s next year will be participating in a blitz in Holycross on Saturday morning.  Training as usual on Saturday for the others.

Football training as usual on Wednesday evening.

Under 12

Our U12 B team kept up their good run with a victory against Thurles Gaels in Kickham Park. Gaels lead early on but an Oisin O Brien goal saw us level at half time. We turned in an excellent second half and goals from Sean Madden and Aaron Mulcaire saw us run out winners. As well as those already mentioned, there were great performances from Dean Fanning, Cathal Hayes, Liam Kenny and Stephen Donavan. Both our A and B teams are in action this week.

Under 14.

We were defeated by Arravale Rovers in the county final on Saturday in Cashel. All players put in a great effort but we came up short on the day. This group of players deserve great credit for all their efforts throughout the year .The second team play Gortnahoe away on Thursday in the 14 B shield semi final.
