Both our A and B teams were in semi final action in the Football this week. First up were our B team who played Upperchurch Drombane. We got off to a slow start and were behind by 7 points after five minutes but we got our act together after that and turned in a fine performance. At the back Brian Long and Shane Stapelton did well, Gavin Keegan worked hard  at midfield and Jack Lanigan and Jamie Donavan were a threat up front. Despite our best efforts however we were unable to make up that 7 point deficit. On Saturday our A team were up against Moycarkey in Littleton. Played in terrible conditions this was an excellent game. We played with the gale in the first half and lead by 1 05 to a goal at the break . In the second half facing the elements we were under enormous pressure but our defensive play was excellent and we were still ahead by 2 points with six minutes left  but a late goal and a point saw Moycarkey over the line. Overall this was a really gritty and determined display by the whole team and we had outstanding performances from Conor Murphy , Patrick Scully and Kevin Bracken.

Under 16.
