Last Wednesday we played Loughmore in a couple of challenge games, thanks to Loughmore for travelling in to play us. We played Roscrea at 7.00 in Páirc na nOg, again we thank them for travelling and hopefully we will have another few challenge matches in the near future. Hurling as usual on Saturday @ 10.00

Under 12
Our U 12s started their mid hurling campaign on Tuesday 12 June with a double header away to Holycross. Our B team got matters underway with an impressive victory with great performances from Darragh Stakelum, Ben Murphy, Killian Donaghy and Peter Wall. Our A team got off to a slow start and and found themselves two goals down after five minutes. They recovered however and after a very exciting second half the match ended in a draw which was a fair result. There were good performances from Cian Stakelum,Kieran Moloney and Barry McGrath. All three U12 teams are in action on Tuesday 19 June.

Under 14

We played James Stephens in a hurling challenge on Friday night. This was an excellent game and we thank them for travelling. On Saturday our U13 travelled to Naas for a tournament, where we played De Le Salle, Na Piarsigh and Naas. We would like to thank Naas for their invitation to this well run tournament. The championship started this week and our first team played Holycross on Monday night. Training continues on Thursday night at 7pm.

We would like to thank all those who helped out with the carpark on Sunday last for the Waterford V Clare, game and would like to remind anyone in need of tickets for this weekends Cork V Tipperary match to contact Ger Sammon on 08728811540 by Thursday, June 21st at the latest.
