The following notes were published in this weeks Tipperary Star:

New Members.

As we start back to training after the winter break it is an ideal time to remind everyone that new members are always welcome. If your child is interested please come up at the appropriate training time and one of the mentors will look after you. In addition we always welcome adult help, and if you are interested in becoming involved in the club just come along to any of the training sessions.

The Under 8 and Academy, will start back to training on February 23rd at the usual time and place, Páirc na nÓg, Saturday mornings at 10.00

Under 10.

The under 10s will be starting back this Saturday, February 16th, with some indoor hurling in the Sarsfields Centre. Training will take place between 10:00 and 11:00. Please note indoor footwear, (runners) and helmets are all that is required.

Under 12s will resume football training this Saturday, February 16th at 11.15 in the Sarsfields Centre. All players are asked to note that they will need to wear a gum-shield. Gum-shields are now compulsory for training and playing Football, and you cannot participate without one.

Under 14 and Under 16.

Training advised by mentors.

Scór na bPáistí.

The finals of the Mid Scor na bPaisti were held in Littleton last Saturday night, Feburary 9th, and Durlas Og picked up three runner up prizes. Our Rince Foirne team of Roisin Bambrick, Robyn Fanning, Kayleigh Fogarty, Ciara Gleeson, Chloe Hall, Lorna Hayes, Amie Nolan and Katelyn Ruddy performed brilliantly but were squeezed into second place by JK Brackens.

Katelyn Ruddy in the Sean Nos dancing competition finished second while our boys in the Novelty Act Kevin Bracken, Kieran Costello, Sean Costello, Kieran Moloney, Ben Murphy, Conor Stapleton and Robbie Stapleton also had to settle for second place.

A big well done to all of the competitors who represented the club in the Scor Competition. Also a big thank you to all their mentors and parents for all their work in having them so well prepared. We would like to thank Scoil Ailbhe for allowing us the use of their hall for the novelty act rehersals.

Well done to Moycarkey Borris for doing a wonderful job in hosting the event and the very best of luck to all the Mid entries in the County Finals next Sunday in Halla Na Feile Cashel at 2:30.
