Last Saturday we travelled to a blitz organised by Moycarkey-Borris. We fielded 3 teams, each of whom played 1 games  of hurling and one game of football,  against Raheny and Moycarkey.  We really enjoyed  getting  a competitive challenge match in football. We would like to thank Moycarkey – Borris for their hospitality and the invitation to participate.

Training as usual: Saturday morning at 11 ( hurling), and football at 7.00, on Wednesday evening.

Under 12.
Fresh from our success over JK Brackens on Saturday 15 June our panel were up bright and early the following day for the long trip west to participate in a tournament at the invitation of Craughwell, Co Galway. Here we came up against the cream of Galway clubs such as Loughrea, Clarinbridge, Sarsfields and Ballygar to name but a few. In a fantastic day our A team won their three group games, defeated Loughrea in the semi final before going on to overcome Ardrahan in the final. Not to be outdone our B team team turned in excellent performances also and went on to win their competition also defeating Ardrahan in the final. So a great day for our panel and thanks again to Craughwell for the invitation. It was back to domestic action for both our teams on Tuesday 18 June. Our B team travelled to Gortnahoe to play the hosts and after a very exciting game they lost out by a point. There were strong performances from Luke Beresford, Luke Fogarty, David Mawe and Conor Whitehead. Our A team travelled to Drom and put in a good performance to see off the home side with Paddy Creedon, Kieran Costello, Cian Stakelum and Eoin Purcell impressing
