Under 16's defeat St. Mary's in County hurling semi final

The Under 16's defeated St. Mary's by 2-15 to 1-11 in the county hurling semi final in New Inn on Saturday.  We played against the breeze in the first half and a St. Mary's goal in the 5th minute was the difference between the teams at half time (Durlas Og 0-6 St. Marys 1-6). A Conor Lanigan goal in the 40th minute made it all square (1-7 each). The teams were still level with ten minutes remaining.  We produced a storming finish outscoring our opponents by 1-6 to 0-2 to run out winners and qualify for the county final against Nenagh Eire Og or Cashel King Cormacs who will meet next weekend in the other semi final.  Well done to the team and their mentors.
