We
had a successful weekend in the Mid semi finals of Scor na bPaisti where we
qualified for the Mid finals in four categories. Our Rince Seit team of Daniel
Ruddy, Amie Nolan, Conor Ruddy, Roisin Bambrick,Luke Dunne, Katelyn Ruddy, Peter
Wall and Aine Purcell made it to the final, as did Katelyn Ruddy in the Sean Nos
dancing. Our Quiz Team of Conor Fogarty, Kieran Costello and Luke Fogarty also
booked their place in the final, while our Rince Foirne team of Amie Nolan,
Katelyn Ruddy, Ciara Gleeson, Chloe Hall, Roisin Bambrick, Kayleigh Fogarty,
Robyn Fanning and Katie Costello guaranteed that we will have a strong
representation in the Mid Finals. We also put in great performances in the
Novelty Act, Instrumental Music, Recitation and Solo Singing in what was overall
an impressive outing for Durlas Og. The Mid Finals which were scheduled to take place this Sunday has been postponed. A new date will be confirmed in the next few days.  |
