We scored a thrilling two points win over Nenagh Eire Og in the County Under 16 'A' hurling semi final at The Ragg on Saturday.  Nenagh dominated the first half and they led by 1-9 to 0-5 at the interval.  We made a number of positional switches at half time and after a lacklustre display in the first half we upped the tempo in the second half.  A Tom Meehan goal and three points from Conor Lanigan had the deficit down to one point (1-9 to 1-8) by the 40th minute.  The remainder of the half was end to end stuff.  We took the lead with ten minutes remaining and despite increased pressure from Nenagh in the closing minutes we held on for 1-16 to 1-14 victory.  Well done to all the players for their magnificient effort especially for their second half display and comeback.  Special mention of Conor Lanigan who scored 14 points in a top class display of marksmanship.  Our county final opponents are not yet know as both the South and West finals have to be played.
