Hard luck to our Under 14 hurlers who suffered a one point defeat to Clonoulty/Rossmore in the County Semi Final at Golden on Saturday. Despite playing against the wind in the first half we led by a point (2-2 to 1-4) at the interval. The second half was similar to the first with little seperating the teams.  A Durlas Og goal with ten minutes remaining gave us a four points lead. Clonoulty finished strongly scoring five points without reply to record a narrow victory on a final score of Durlas Og 3-4 Clonoulty/Rossmore 1-11.  Commiserations to our gallant players and their mentors on a tremendous effort.
